We've arrived in Andermatt

We arrived in Zurich after an overnight flight,
tired but excited,  and three trains later we were in Andermatt. It was a rainy and foggy trip with spectacular views of lakes and mountains.  The last train was a cog train up a steep and narrow Canyon.

We took the rest of the day to relax and then put the bike together in the parking lot on a nice sunny day.

Ken started by spreading out the contents of the suitcase.

The frame is assembled next.

It took less than two hours to complete the bicycle,  with a further hour to add all the accessories.

Andermatt is a lovely picturesque town so,  after shipping the suitcases to The Netherlands,  we spent the afternoon exploring...

Tomorrow we take another cog railway with the tandem and
four panniers to the top of Oberalppass to start our journey down the Rhine.
